Discharge

We will proceed with the discharge process once your doctor has certified your discharge.

  • For self-pay patients- the final bill will be ready within 2 hours after the discharge process is initiated .
  • For the patient with GL-an additional processing time of 1-3 hours or more will be required to obtain the final GL from your company , insurance or third-party administrator.
  • You will be informed when the bill is ready and a bedside discharge will be performed to settle your bill.
  • If patients (with GL) want to go back home early, there will be a certain amount that needed to be bare by the patients depending on the bill amount.
  • All medical bills must be fully settled upon discharge.
  • Interim bills are available during the admission period upon request. For updates on inpatient bills, please contact our billing staff to discuss any financial arrangements.
  • We accept various modes of payment including cash and major credit cards. For the convenience of international patients, we also accept major foreign currencies.
  • If your bills are to be settled by your employer or insurance company through direct billing arrangements, you must produce a letter of guarantee & hospitalization identity card from your employer or insurance company that clearly states your room type and your identity or passport number. We are unable to accept a letter of guarantee from any company or insurance company that does not have prior credit arrangements with MAHSA Hospital.
  • All consultants are allowed to discharge patient with turn of time until 5.30pm. (during office hours).
